Organski uzgoj - je li uopće moguć? DA! Isplati li se? DA! Mihovil Stipišić iz Vrboske to dokazuje vlastitim primjerom.

Gospodin Mihovil je vrlo zaposlen čovjek. Radi u Splitu, gdje vodi vlastitu tvrtku - Strilam, kompaniju za inženjering i izgradnju osnovanu u 1993. godini. Za ekološku proljoprivredu se počeo interesirati prije nekoliko godina, kada je postao svijestan koliko su kemijski pesticidi štetni za ljudsko zdravlje i okoliš. Nakon temeljnog istraživanja i proučavanja raznih izvora, krenuo je u izazov organskog uzgoja na vlastitim poljima uz pomoć svoje obitelji. Iako obično dolazi na Hvar samo na par dana, njegovi napori rezultiraju dovoljnom količinom povrća za prehranu njegove šire obitelji (najmanje devet članova), čak i više. Svjestan je činjenice, da plodovi iz organskog uzgoja znaju biti promjenljivi, ali uz pažljivo planiranje i plodored je uspio smanjiti gubitke na minimum.

Kemijski pesticidi se naširoko koriste na Hvaru. Poljoprivrednici i vrtlari često koriste razne izgovore za njihovu primjenu. Praktičnost je na vrhu popisa. Većina ljudi je svjesna štete koju mogu uzrokovati komercijalni otrovi ali sami nekolicina razumije opseg rizika za ljudsko zdravlje i okoliš.

Promjena je moguća - i nužna. Postoje alternative za kemikalije za "zaštitu bilja" i obogaćivanje tla. Mihovil je iz vlastitog istraživanja, i što je važnije, iz svog vlastitog iskustva, postavio smjernice za pomoć drugim poljoprivrednicima i vrtlarima uzgajati zdrave i zdravlje-dajuće biljke.

MOJA ISKUSTVA U EKOLOŠKOJ POLJOPRIVREDI - POVRTNJAK

Uvod

Ekološka poljoprivreda pruža veliki potencijal i mogućnosti za mlade ljude koji žele pronaći izazove i strasti , a o okolini ,zajednici ,državi ... ovisi koliko će ekološka poljoprivreda biti dobra za njih, tu nema nikakvih garancija.

Radite svoj kompost

Za poboljšanje kvalitete zemlje koristiti stajski gnjoj , ali ne sviježi , nego ga pomješati sa usitnjenim otpacima neiskorištenih biljaka itd., ostaviti da odstoji minimalno 6 mjeseci.

Priprema zemljišta

Nastojati što manje traktorirati zemlju sa motokultivatorom jer time uništavamo život u njoj.

Ako možemo zemlju orati plugom ili kopati motikom manje površine.Također zemlju držati pokrivenom sa višegodišnjom folijom na kojoj su probivene rupe za sadnice

Možemo poboljšati kvalitetu zemlje sadeći veće kolićine boba u zimskim mjesecima. Stabljike boba ne čupati već ostaviti korjen u zemlji. ( dušik )

Zaljevanje sistemom kap na kap. To se može izvesti preko programatora. Programator programirati da navodnjava po noći od npr. 1 do 2 sata i to svaki drugi dan. Pojedine gredice odvojiti ventilima jer se sve biljke ne moraju isto zaljevati. Zaljevanje se u biti svodi na zaljevanje pomidora , tikvica itd. ispod višegodišnje folije . A kako tu nema isparivanja uštede na potrošnji vode su velike tako da se investicija u foliju i programator isplati u dvije godine.Cijena folije od 100 m2 je cca 900 kn , a programator cca 500 kn. Naravno u polju je potrebno imati priključak na vodovod. Ako je pritisak u vodovodu velik može se ugraditi reducir ventil.

Sadnja

Po mogućnosti sami uzgojiti sadnice i to ako je moguće sa starim autohtonim sortama.

Po mome iskustvu sve saditi ranije nego na kopnu radi razlićite klime.

Bob saditi u koncem studenoga , a ne u veljači jer je zimski puno otporniji.

Krumpir saditi krajem veljače jer kasnijom sadnjom zreli kumpir se skuha u zemlji.

Grašak saditi krajem veljače , zaljevati sistemom kap na kap zadnjih mjesec dana.

Slanutak saditi krajem veljače , zaljevati sistemom kap na kap zadnjih mjesec dana.

Faželete saditi početkom travnja jer su tada najotporniji, zaljevati sistemom kap na kap.

Pomidore , tikvice , krastavce , paprike i balancane saditi polovicom travnja u rupe na višegodišnjoj foliji , zaljevati sistemom kap na kap i pokriti mrežom.

Kupusnjaće saditi krajem kolovoza , zaljevati sistemom kap na kap i pokriti mrežom prvih mjesec dana.

Zaštita

Zaštita biljaka od gljivičnih oboljenja ili napada štetoćina vrši se iskljućivo sa biljnim srestvima. Bitno je da se biljke prskaju preventivno ili najkasnije kad se uoće prva oboljenja. Plodovi se jasno mogu i odmah jesti nakon prskanja.

BILJNA SREDSTVA ZA PRSKANJE

ČAJ OD POLJSKE PRESLICE (Equisetum arvense)

Taj čaj je jako dobro sredstvo za kontrolu gljivičnih oboljenja. Preslicu treba nabrati koncem ljeta ( 8 mjesec ) kada sadrži najveću količinu silicija te je osušiti na sjenovitom mjestu. Osušenu preslicu možemo upotrjebiti tijekom cijele godine. Čaj se koristi kao antigljivično sredstvo.

Čaj se priprema tako da se 300 grama suhe preslice kuha u 5 litara vode jedan sat na blagoj vatri. Nakon toga ga procjedimo i razrijedimo s još 25 litara vode. Prije upotrebe tekućina mora odstojati još 10 sati. Prilikom razrijeđivanja čaja potrebno ga je mješati oko 10 minuta.

Preporuča se jedno ili više prskanja vočaka nakon kišnog perioda i to prije ili u početku napada gljivičnih oboljenja. Prskati po sunčanom vremenu. Preventivno možemo prskati prema uputama " Mjesečnog sjetvenog kalendara ". Čaj od preslice može se dodavati i u vodi u kanti za zalijevanje , od njega pravimo i kupku za umakanje korjena prije sadnje voćaka. Prskamo po plodovima voćaka , krošnji i stablu.

Voćke prskanjem čajem od preslice dobivaju otpornost na pepelnicu , peronosporu , rđu i druga gljivična oboljenja.

Radi velike efikasnosti i suzbijanja raznih gljivičnih oboljenja farmeri kažu da im nikada nije dosta ove biljke.

Ja ovim čajem prskam lozu i povrće. Navedena kolićina čaja od 30 litara mi je dovoljna za prskanje 400 loza i 400 m2 povrtnjaka.

ČAJ OD STOLISNIKA (Achillea millefolium)

Stolisnik spada u narodnoj medicini među ljekovite biljke jer sadrži mirisnogorka eterična ulja i mnogo minerala. On ima i dezinfekciske osobine. Potiče i pospješuje djelovanje učinaka drugih biljaka te se zbog toga njegov čaj može mješati s drugim čajevima , a posebno to vrijedi za čaj od metvice i kamilice.

U ekovočarstvu koristi se kao sredstvo protiv pepelnice ,truleži plodova i drugih gljivičnih oboljenja.

Priprema se tako da 1 kg svježih listova , stabljika ( 15 cm dužine ) ili 200 grama suhog stolisnika shuhamo u 10 litara vode. To se procjedi i razrijedi s vodom u omjeru 5:1 i prskaju se oboljele voćke. Dodro je prskati preventivno ili čim se bolest primjeti. Najefikasnije je djelovanje ako se naprave čajevi od metvice i kamilice i pomješaju u istim omjerima s čajem od stolisnika.

Kod pojedinih voćaka može se pojaviti osip ( alergija na stolisnik ).U tom slučaju treba napustiti kontak biljkom i čajem od nje.

Ja ovim čajem prskam lozu i povrće. Sami odredite omjere i kolićinu potrebnog čaja.

SREDSTVO ZA PRSKANJE OD KOPRIVE (Urtica dioica)

Upotrebljava se za uništavanje mnogobrojnij lisnih uši , a istovremeno jača biljke,poboljšava im otpornost i gnjoji ih.

Priprema se tako da se 1 kg svježih , isječenih kopriva potopi u 10 litara vode i ostavi 24 sati. Ne duže jer preparat gubi moč. Ako nema svježih kopriva, na istu količinu vode treba uzeti 100 do 200 grama osušenih.Nakon 24 sata tečnost je potrebno procjediti i njome prskati biljke sa svih strana. Postupak se može ponoviti nakon nekoliko dana.Biljni ostaci se kompostiraju.

Važno je napomenuti da sredstvo za prskanje od koprive mora se upotrebiti nakon 24 sata , a nikako nakon 2 – 3 dana jer postaje agresivno i može spržiti biljke.

Ja ovim čajem prskam rijeđe lozu i češće povrće. Sami odredite omjere i kolićinu potrebnog čaja.

ČAJ OD PELINA (Artemisia absinthium)

Odlikuje se izrazitom gorčinom zbog čega ga izbjegavaju insekti. Priprema se tako da 300 grama predhodno osušenih i usitnjenih grančica pelina ( s listom , a može i s cvijetom ) prelije jednom litrom kipuće vode, ostavi stajati poklopljeno pola sata. Nakon toga se procjedi i doda 9 litara vode i čaj za prskanje je gotov. Čaj od pelina se koristi za zaštitu jagoda i kupina od grinja,protiv lisnih ušiju na svim voćkama , protiv gusjenica , mravi i drugih štetnih insekata.

Biljni ostaci se ne smiju kompostirati.

Ja ovim čajem prskam bob, fažolete , grašak i pomidore preventivno ili kad se pojave lisne uši.

Napomena:

Suha preslica, kopriva, te pelin, stolisnik, metvica i kamilica (sve u suhom stanju) mogu se nabaviti u Splitu u kiosku na tržnici iza starog igrališta Hajduka, svak po cijeni od cca 75 kn za 1 kg.

Zaključak

Navedenim naćinom uzgoja povrća postigao sam prinose dovoljne za skoro cijelogodišnju prehranu devetoročlane obitelji (troje male djece) Višak sezonskog povrća se konzervira.( pomidori , tikvice, bob , grašak , fažoleti.)

    On 15 March 2022, I was on a video call with a dear friend when I experienced a twitching on the left-hand side of my face and a slurring of my speech. My wife, Fiona, took me to hospital because we both thought I was having a stroke, and I spent the journey in the car adjusting to my probable death. Interestingly, I did not feel fear or anger; only sadness and disappointment that it was all going to end sooner than I had expected.     Since then I have read a number of accounts written by cancer sufferers. Many of them start with an uncertain diagnosis, often with a reasonable percentage chance of survival. But unlike these accounts it was absolutely clear that the tumour would kill me: there was no cure and I was given a median life expectancy of 15 to 18 months. Of course, I hoped to do better than the median, but the medical team said that clinging to that possibility would probably be a mistake because it would distract me from enjoying the time I had left. My immediate reaction was genuinely to recognise that in some respects I was lucky. Some people drop dead with no warning, whereas I would perhaps have a year to come to terms with and make sense of my life. This enabled me from the beginning to take a positive approach to my situation and determined me to make the most of the little time I had.
