Djeca do kojima je stalo čine veliku razliku u svijetu oko njih. Sjajno je što ih imamo na Hvaru.

Uspjeh hvarske djece, Eco Hvar zahvaljuje!
U kolovozu 2019. iznenadili su nas, počastili i oduševili ovdje u Eko Hvaru ponudivši nam zaradu od sajma/izložbe organizirane za pomoć napuštenim životinjama na Hvaru. Projekt je bio zamisao samo dviju djevojčica - Kai Balent (10) i Tonke Boellard (8).

Sve je krenulo jednog dana kada su na plaži zamjetile mnogo smeća oko sebe. Skupile su ga i počele smišljati na koje bi još načine mogle pomoći boljitku otoka Hvara. Budući da su ljubiteljice životinja, privukla ih je ideja da prikupe novac za životinje lutalice. Odlučno su se namjerile na ovaj izazov organiziravši radionicu sa svojim vršnjacima i prijateljima kako bi izradili raznovrsne ručno-rađene tvorevine koje će prodavati na predloženom sajmu. U malo i kratko proizveli su prekrasnu kolekciju šarenih i sa stilom izrađenih suvenira.

Isto tako, osmislile su i promotivne materijale za plakate i internet.
Kai, Tonka i njihove kolege minimalnu su pomoć tražili od odraslih. Jedina intervencija odraslih bilo je obračanje Eko Hvaru od strane Kaine mame Jelene kako bi nas upitala želimo li prihvatiti zaradu od sajma/izložbe. To je bilo 14. kolovoza kada su svi materijali već bili pripremljeni a projekt spreman. Naravno da smo bili oduševljeni.
Sajam se održao u prostorijama PlarFORme* u gradu Hvaru u ponedjeljak 18. kolovoza. Vrlo brzo se premjestila iz izložbene prostorije na rivu ispred zgrade gdje je privukao pažnju velikog broja dobronamjernika, lokalnog stanovništva i posjetitelja. Potpredsjednica Eko Hvara kratko se obratila s opisom rada udruge te izrazila duboku zahvalnost svima koji su bili uključeni u projekt a osobito dvoje mladih pokretača.

Projekt je svakako bio uspješan. Kada nam je Jelena opisivala predloženi sajam, kazala je kako vjerojatno neće prikupiti mnogo novca. Sajam je, što od prodaje, što od donacija, uprihodio 2.346,40 kn. Zarada je slijedećeg dana uplaćena na račun Eko Hvara na kojemu predstavlja značajan doprinos našoj udruzi koja u potpunosti ovisi o donacijama.

Svi smo bili i više nego zahvalni što je ova sjajna dječja inicijativa usmjerena ka Eko Hvaru obzirom da je ovo tek drugi događaj za prikupljanje sredstava koji se održao u našu korist, nakon jednako uspješnog “Koncerta za nas” održanog u Jelsi 14.10.2018. godine.
Najveće zadovoljstvo dobili smo od energije, entuzijazma i vještine koju su pokazala ova vrlo sposobna djeca. Apatija u Hrvatskoj može se sažeti u jednom izrazu “to je tako” što nagovještava kontekst “nije vrijedno truda, ne možemo ništa promijeniti”.
Svojim primjerom Kai, Tonka i njihovi suradnici pokazali su da ne prihvaćaju svi mladi ovakav način razmišljanja, naprotiv! Spremni su uložiti mnogo napora u pozitivne promjene i dobra djela. Dobro je znati da je naša budućnost sigurna u njihovim rukama!
* PlatFORma lokalna je udruga s otoka Hvara koja se bavi promoviranjem i unapređenjem kulturno-društvenih aktivnosti otoka Hvara.
