"BEE HAPPY" u Jelsi, 2022.

Otok sunca dobio svoj prvi apisarij!

Povodom obilježavanja Svjetskog dana pčela, 20. svibnja 2022. godine, završen je projekt "BEE HAPPY" u Srednjoj školi Hvar - Izdvojenoj lokaciji Jelsa. Riječ je o projektu, vrijednom 15.500 kuna, što ga je financiralo Ministarstvo znanosti i obrazovanja preko preventivnih projekata za izvanučioničku nastavu.

Cilj projekta je upoznati i osvijestiti učenike, nastavnike ali i širu javnost s problemom nestanka pčela u prirodi. Pčele su svakodnevno izložene raznim opasnostima, te je od krucijalne važnosti pridonijeti njihovom očuvanju. Dakle, projektom se želi dugoročno educirati stanovništvo o aktualnim problemima koji se odnose na opasnosti koje kontinuirano prijete pčelama u prirodi. U tom smislu su također prikazali kako funkcionira jedna pčelinja zajednica u realnom okruženju.

▪ U sklopu projekta održane su edukacije u lokalnim dječjim vrtićima, dok je u školskom vrtu 'Klokun' postavljen prvi apisarij na otoku Hvaru. Na otvaranju su nam se pridružili vrtićanci iz Jelse i Vrboske. Učenici 4. razreda usmjerenja 'agroturistički tehničari', zajedno s mojom malenkosti su održali edukativnu radionicu za djecu. Podijelili smo im majice, diplome, edukativne materijale, knjige i sjeme medonosnog bilja koje će oni zasijati u svojim vrtovima – pripovijeda nam Nikolina Carić, nastavnica stručnih predmeta u spomenutom usmjerenju i koordinatorica projekta, na kojem su suradnice njezine kolegice Božana Damjanić Majdak i Katijana Petrić.

Tome dodaje da su na taj način željeli potaknuti djecu, ali i širu javnost na brigu i zanimanje za pčele, za koje nažalost svakodnevno svjedočimo njihovom nestanku i ugibanju ponajprije zbog nekontrolirane uporabe pesticida. Na projektu su sudjelovale udruge "Moj škoj" i "Prijatelji otoka Šćedra", koje su prepoznale vrijednost projekta.▪ Valja reći i to da su naši učenici oduševljeni s projektom, te su vrlo ozbiljno shvatili važnost prenošenja znanja na mlađe generacije. Oni u svom nastavnom planu imaju predmet 'Pčelarstvo', pa je to i za njih bio idealan način održavanja praktične nastave. Vrtićanci su oduševljeno sudjelovali na radionici i zasigurno će im ostati u lijepom sjećanju. Apisarij će biti dostupan za sve zainteresirane, te će služiti i za obavljanje praktične nastave. Naša želja je da se projekt nastavi i idućih godina da bi u njega mogli uključiti i ostale vrtiće te škole s otoka Hvara – kazala je Nikolina.

Ana Marija Jakas (Prijatelji otoka Šćedra) je pak rekla: "...Naša udruga se uključila u projekt jer se inače brinemo o zaštiti okoliša i očuvanju prirodne baštine dragog nam otočića uz južnu obalu Hvara, koji je ujedno i oaza za pčele zbog svoje flore, ponajprije ružmarina. Uz to smatramo da su ovakvi projekti dobro došli za edukaciju javnosti, a ponajprije onih najmanjih koji su budućnost našeg otoka", a potom se nastavnica Carić zahvalila svima koji su podržali projekt, ponajprije svojim učenicima koji su na njemu tako predano radili. Kada je vidjela sav taj njihov svesrdni angažman, vidjela je i svijetlu budućnosti pčelarstva na našem najsunčanijem škoju.
