UK moves into micro-chips

Published in Notices

While its enthusiasm for the EU wavers, the UK steps into line with micro-chipping dogs.

In most of Europe, including Croatia, it has been compulsory to micro-chip dogs for some years. In Europe, vaccination against rabies is also compulsory. The UK has provided micro-chipping on demand up to now, but as from April 2016, all dogs must be micro-chipped, with large fines for non-compliance. Full details can be found on the website.
